A public meeting was held last night to discover what bus services are needed round here. We intend to use the feedback from this meeting to prioritise our campaign for better buses. Notes of the meeting can be found here.
Here in Dunbar we feel that we are not getting a satisfactory service from First with buses that are often late or inaccessible. We’d like all our members to bring poor service to the attention of First by using their online form, or writing to Managing Director, Paul Thomas at Carmuirs House, 300 Stirling Road, Larbert, FK5 3NJ; please send a note to us too, so we can keep note and see whether improvements are being made.. We remind all our members of First’s Customer promise which states:
If we operate more than one minute early or 15 minutes late, we will compensate customers if this has arisen due to circumstances within our control. We will give you a whole day’s free travel.
You can find further details on First’s website.
