First Bus is starting a new bus service 253 between Edinburgh – Dunbar – Berwick-upon -Tweed from 30th of May 2011. This is a partnership between Perrymans and First Bus and will give Dunbar bus users two services an hour between Edinburgh and Dunbar .
First bus group also promise that they will provide low floor buses for their 253 service which will minimise the accessibility issue for disabled and elderly people.
For a trial period Perryman’s introducing new special-priced tickets that are valid for ten journeys. To get your 10-Journey Tickets, simply buy them on board.

RELBUS would like other towns of East Lothian to have their say about public transport in the there area. For this purpose RELBUS decide to organise their first meeting outside Dunbar at East Linton.
RELBUS next meeting will be held at East Linton Community Hall Thursday 7th of April at 7pm.
